Biography

Born in Belgrade in 1995, Izidora’s journey into the beauty industry began long before she ever imagined building a career in it.

Raised by her mother, a music professor, she was introduced to the arts at an early age. She began her musical education at six and entered the State Ballet School at nine. It was during those years, surrounded by theatre, performances, and backstage preparations, that she first became fascinated by makeup.

But her childhood was far from easy.

Growing up during a period of financial hardship, she learned to take responsibility early. At fourteen, she began working to help support herself and her mother.

At twenty-one, she left Serbia and moved abroad, eventually settling in Slovenia, where she started building her career from the ground up.

In 2019, she founded her own makeup business. What initially began with individual clients gradually developed into a career spanning bridal makeup, beauty education, television, fashion, and international productions.

In 2020, she launched one of Slovenia’s first online makeup academies, expanding her work into professional education.

Over the following years, she continued to develop her skills, build her business, and establish relationships within the beauty and entertainment industries.

In 2023, her career took a significant international turn.

Her work brought her to the Cannes Film Festival, where she continued to return in the following years, as well as to Paris Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week, and Ljubljana Fashion Week.

Alongside these major events, she worked on numerous other fashion, beauty, and entertainment projects, collaborating with creative teams and professionals from different parts of the industry.

Since then, her calendar has continued to fill with new productions, events, destinations, and opportunities.

There have been so many projects and milestones that listing every one of them would hardly tell the full story.

Rather than measuring her career by the number of events she has attended or the names associated with her work, Izidora prefers to let the quality of her work speak for itself.

Today, she continues to work internationally while developing Izidora Empire, bringing together her experience in professional makeup artistry, beauty education, and business.

What makes her journey particularly personal is where it began: with a young girl watching performers prepare backstage, fascinated by how makeup could transform a face, a character, or a moment.

Years later, she found herself working behind the scenes of some of the very events she once could only have imagined.

And there is still much more to come.
