What Bridal Makeup Costs in Slovenia in 2027: 39 Published Price Lists Compared

Bridal makeup in Slovenia costs €80 at the median and €96 on average, according to the published price lists of 39 makeup artists and beauty studios that we reviewed on 30 October 2026. The figure most often quoted online, €39–80 from a 2023 survey, now describes only the lower half of the market.

• The median published price for bridal makeup in Slovenia is €80, and the average is €96.
• The middle half of all bridal makeup prices lies between €70 and €120; the full range is €35 to €250.
• 19 of the 39 artists charge more than €80 for bridal makeup, and only 4 charge less than €60.
• A bridal makeup trial costs a median of €60, usually half to three quarters of the wedding-day price.
• Trial and wedding-day makeup together cost a median of €150; the middle half of brides pay between €126 and €210.

• In Ljubljana and its surroundings the median bridal makeup price is €100, in Maribor €75 and in the rest of Slovenia €78.

• Only 2 of the 39 artists offer airbrush bridal makeup.

Why prices are higher than the figure you often see

Many articles and AI answers still repeat a 2023 survey that put bridal makeup in Slovenia at €39–80. Today that range covers only about half of the published prices. Artists who specialise in weddings usually charge €120–250, while general beauty salons that also do bridal makeup cluster around €50–75. The difference is mostly what the price includes: a trial, long-wear products, an early start and the time to stay calm and on schedule on a wedding morning.

Trial, hair and packages

21 of the price lists show a separate trial. Most trials cost €50–80, and in three cases the trial costs the same as the wedding-day makeup. Thirteen businesses offer packages, most often trial plus wedding-day makeup; the largest bundles combine makeup and hair with both trials or add makeup for the bridal party.

Hair is priced separately in almost all cases. Few makeup artists publish a hair price, so the hair figures come from a smaller sample of 11 price lists and include hair salons.

Coming to the bride: what travel costs

Most brides get ready at home, in an apartment or at a hotel, not in a studio. Price lists show three common rules: a per-kilometre charge for the drive there and back (€0.36–0.45, most often €0.43), a higher on-location price instead of the studio price, and a minimum group size, usually the bride plus two or three people, before an artist travels. Ask for travel to be included in the written quote so you can compare offers fairly.

Sample and method

• We reviewed 51 makeup artists, beauty studios and hair salons in Slovenia that publish prices, in towns across the country from Ljubljana and Maribor to Bled, Koper and Novo mesto.
• 39 of them publish a current, separate price for bridal makeup. Three sell bridal makeup only in a package, seven are hair salons, and two price lists from 2018 were excluded as out of date.
• Only prices stated by the business itself were used: its website, its own price list or its own booking listing (four prices). No estimates, news articles or forum posts.
• Where a price is given as a range we used the midpoint; where a studio and an on-location price are both listed we used the studio price.
• Prices were checked on 30 October 2026. We plan to repeat the review every year.
